The new Ruinart Second Skin recyclable case is made from 100% paper and is nine times lighter than the previous pack. Made according to rigorous environmental standards and modeled on the iconic profile of the Ruinart bottle, its chalky texture recalls the walls of the ancient Champagne cellars. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is a top-of-the-range Champagne, produced from a 100% Chardonnay blend from different vintages. The grapes mostly come from Premiers Crus vineyards of the Cte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, famous for their aromatic finesse, with small additions of Szannais wines which are renowned for their roundness. The color is golden and extremely bright. The nose reveals ripe and lively citrus notes, followed by aromas of white flowers and stone fruit. On the palate, it is soft and harmonious, round and superbly fresh. The finish is mineral, long and refreshing. It is a perfect Champagne for an aperitif, but it goes very well with all seafood, shellfish, and fish tartare.
